Resizing Ubuntu image in VirtualBox

Resizing the Ubuntu image in VirtualBox is a two-step process:

(1) In Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager, open File >> Virtual Media Manager and set the desired size for the chosen disk by using the slider.

(2) Follow Step 3. Resize the Linux Partition from Resize a VirtualBox guest Linux VDI Disk under Windows Host

IMPORTANT NOTE: When choosing (existing) hard disk for Storage >> Controller: SATA in GParted virtual machine, make sure you select the correct snapshot (a .vdi file which name is some GUID from Snapshots directory next to the image's main .vdi file).
